The Rainy Hall is one of the areas included in Amnesia: The Dark Descent and located in Brennenburg Castle.
This is the room where you'll start your adventure, controlling Daniel. He awakes in this room.
He doesn't know who he is, or how he got there, so he follows the trail of pink liquid that is on the ground.
At the end of this room there's a door to the next area, the Old Archives.

In this area Daniel, you, will find several Tinder boxes, they are used to lit up the area, you could interpret this as a tutorial on how to use light in your advantage.
